Ideal Living reinvents the home to showcase specialist makers and people that elevate our everyday experience through meaningful design and craftsmanship.

The event is a demonstration and alternative to traditional exhibition display set ups, encouraging people to interact and ‘live’ in the space by using the items.

The show aims to explore how we can elevate our everyday living through meaningful design that in turn supports local craftsmen and people.

The space will be turned into an open-plan living area made up of participants objects, mimicking a real home to be used, enjoyed, and relaxed in. The curated home will be made up of specifically chosen objects that we feel fall under ‘meaningful’ design.
