Teaching
I teach 1:1, 1:2 or very small family/friend groups privately in my home studio workshop at the end of the garden, with a beautiful sea view.
Prices are £200 per day including all materials for one person, or £270 for two people. Three people is just about possible at a cosy push or when the weather is lovely for spilling outside (£345) but please contact me to discuss first!
In one day you could make a 25cm diameter basket, or two platters for your table, or two nut baskets. Or two half day projects eg a plant support in the morning and a garlic basket in the afternoon.
In two days, with some experience, you could make a log or possibly a laundry basket or garden trug.
Half days are also available at a cost of £135 1-1, £180 1-2, or 225 1-3.
If you have some experience, I love to teach students who are already committed to basketmaking and want to explore new techniques or probelm solve on tricky areas. Please get in touch to discuss!
In winter months please bring very warm clothes and at all times clothing you don’t mind getting a bit scruffy as we weave. In summer months you might like to bring sunscreen or light clothing as we will try to work outside as much as possible.
After paying for your session we can arrange a suitable day or days that work for us both. Looking forward to weaving with you.
